Music & MP3s home Videos

The Headliner - Our most ambitious music video to date. This is the terrible sort of thing that happens when you give two goobers an HD camera and a green screen.
(January, 2012 - 1:50) Watch in HD: Vimeo or YouTube.

This Broken Place - A montage of found footage & home movies from 1939-1969. Highlights include the 1939 Macy's Day Parade, Martha "Polident" Raye, and (possibly?) an American president. As seen on One Cool Thing A Day (April, 2011 - 4:19) Watch in HD: Vimeo or YouTube.

Another Big Mistake - A one-camera recording outtake from the Verse Chorus Curse sessions. We were slogging through this song a bunch of times, and since this one wasn't good enough, we thought we'd share it with you! (Sept, 2010 - 3:41) Watch in HD: Vimeo or YouTube.

Reducer - A frantic video shot in our extremely small & crowded rehearsal room. If you start to feel claustrophobic, or a seizure coming on, for the love of god AVERT YOUR EYES. See also: Some 'making of/behind-the-scenes' type stuff. (January, 2011 - 1:22) Watch in HD: Vimeo or YouTube.

MORE STUFF

Clampdown
A part of our regular live set, we decided to record a fun & sloppy rehearsal of this immensely good Clash song. (Dec, 2011)

Reducer (Sick Day)

One day Tom had a cold and felt really crappy, so naturally he decided to point a camera at himself and attempt to sing half a song. (July, 2010)

Backyard Session: Drain You -
Another song from our Backyard Session (see Trends to the right). A nice sort-of-sloppy cover of a Nirvana song. We messed around with it a bit. (Sept, 2011 - 3:20)

Backyard Session: Trends+Markets - An old No-Shadow Kick song we re-worked for Valley Homegrown (see below) but had to cut from the set due to time constraints. (July, 2011 - 2:45)

Six Songs Live From Valley Homegrown -
Highlights from Valley Homegrown's Greenfield, MA studio, April 2011: 1. Cost/Benefit 2. Ghosts Of The Lower Barometrics 3. I'm Not The One You Thought I Was 4. Northampton 5. Another Big Mistake 6. Snowbird (Apr, 2011 - 13:43)

Four Songs Live -
Our second live appearance. Recorded at The Elevens in Northampton, Massachusetts. A four song set: Post-Encore / Cost-Benefit / Rewound / The Headliner. Thanks to camera-persons Tom Malsbury and Sarah Smith. (Feb 21, 2010 - 8:36)

Watch it in 720 HD on YouTube.

There's also some misc. live occasionally-shaky smartphone footage to be found on this YouTube playlist, if you care.
